I'm a Burke County native and a long-time resident of Catawba County. I have been with State Farm since 1985 and a State Farm agent since 2001. We serve all our Good Neighbors in Hickory and across the whole state of North Carolina. Let us help you protect what matters most with the right insurance programs for you and your whole family. Some fun facts about me - My wife, Julie, and I married in 1993. Our pride and joy are our sons Joseph and Jared. I am a huge sports fan, but baseball is my favorite followed closely by college football. I have been a coach and a sponsor at St. Stephen's Optimist for youth baseball as well as supporting the Hickory Parks and Recreation youth soccer program. I am active in the Hickory Rotary Club and have organized our Salvation Army Bell Ringing campaign since 2004. I have been working with Jeff Butler State Farm since August 2014.  I started out in the insurance industry 20 years ago, just shortly after graduating high school.  I focus on auto, home, and renters insurance.  One of my personal goals is to provide excellent customer service.  I married my high school sweetheart and we have two wonderful children, a boy and a girl!  I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  I enjoy volunteer work for my children's school classroom, church, and community.  I also enjoy being outdoors, hiking, camping, canoeing, going to concerts/festivals and I love to shop!

I am married with a blended family with six adult children that have been a blessing to me. My husband and I have 11 wonderful grandchildren that we enjoy spending time with every chance we get. I also love spending time with my elder mother, family and friends. In my spare time I enjoy camping, dancing and singing in the choir at my church.
